Today's Wild Hare... :)

I got a wild hare to put in some wilder hair! :D Just to the forelock. Just because I really should be doing anything but fiddling around over there (including taking the time to take the dogs to the park instead of a run around inside the garage - for both of our health). Ah well though, sometimes you just gotta take a few minutes to do something when the mood strikes ya! :)

Here I've only really added a tiny tad onto both sides of his forelock giving it taper & fringe. But I think it really helps from various angles a lot more. Especially to complete the "flare" feeling of his swishing tail - these are reminiscent to me of a flamenca dancer's dress motion... constantly whirling and so very full and heavy looking yet somehow light all the same!

Enough waxing philosophical... I have to hit the showers now. Got pretty grimy today (not doing this 20min add on)..

Btw, in case it's not really clear -> this is just the base & I'll be blending/grooving it one these tendrils firm up. Sunday! :D

What a different feel it has to me than this view I took yesterday..

Lol - tx hon butbutbut... no but seriously, I really thought I'd be done sooner but this guy has a lot of things I want to tweak to get as good as I possibly can. I know you can't please everyone but he's almost reverse engineer inspired? If that makes any sense? The more little things I tweak the more the rest "works" for me. Hope that made sense! :D

Love the forelock -- I've seen this look when a stallion "inflates" and bobs his head ... :)

Love that term "inflates"! Its so true though. He is, for a "standing" horse he's really all over the place - just a split second pause actually. You nailed it Sue!

OMG Morgen he is looking incredible! The detail and expressiveness on his head and neck are really beautiful!

Thank you Carol - I really hope someone commissions one with you. I keep showing off my Johann you're doing you know! And telling everyone to get in while the getting's good before you double/triple your rates due to demand. ANYHOW though, but seriously & sincerely, thanks! :)

He is so beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of him. You've really outdone yourself on this one Morgen!

Thank you so much Heather! It's encouraging to hear others dig him as much as I do. It's so funny with a standing horse, you wonder "well is this boring or what" and try to add life but... well... sometimes ya wonder if you're kidding yourself. ;) ANYHOW, thank you so much for the kind thoughts (everyone!). :)
